Discover Kindergarten at Roots
Join us for an evening designed to introduce families to the Roots Kindergarten experience and what makes it intentional, joyful, and different.
At Roots Community School, Kindergarten is thoughtfully designed to nurture curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning through hands-on, project-based experiences, strong relationships, and a deeply values-driven community. This evening is an opportunity to hear directly from our Kindergarten teacher and school leadership, learn about our approach to early learning, and explore what sets Roots Kindergarten apart.
The evening will include:
An overview of the Roots philosophy and how Kindergarten fits into our K–8 program
A closer look at the Kindergarten experience, including daily rhythms, learning approach, and classroom culture
Parent perspectives on why they chose Roots for their child
Details on the application process and time for questions

Families who attend and apply within 7 days will receive an application fee waiver. Kindergarten class size is intentionally limited.
This is a parent-focused evening to allow space for conversation and questions. Childcare will be provided if needed.

Join us for a festive and meaningful evening in support of Roots Community School. Our annual fundraiser brings families, friends, and community members together to celebrate the creativity, learning, and connection that define Roots.
The evening will feature a masquerade-inspired celebration, dinner, and both a live auction and an online auction supporting our students and teachers.
Why This Night Matters
Funds raised through the Annual Fundraiser Gala directly support Roots Community School’s programs and learning environment. Your participation—whether attending in person, sponsoring the event, or bidding in the online auction—helps sustain the project-based education at the heart of our school.

Roots Winter Market
Join us for the Roots Winter Market, a festive community event celebrating creativity, hands-on learning, and the spirit of the season. Our students have been working hard on special handmade items as part of their project-based learning, and they’re excited to showcase and sell their creations. You’ll also find a variety of local vendors offering goods, treats, and gifts—perfect for holiday shopping. As part of the event, we’ll be collecting donations for Chelan Valley Hope. Please consider bringing non-perishable food items as well as new or gently used winter gear (coats, hats, gloves, scarves, boots) to support families in need in our valley. Come shop, support our young makers, enjoy the community, and give back this season!
Tune Into Trivia with Roots
Tune Into Trivia with Roots — Presented by Chelan Valley CPAs
Get ready for a night of laughs, trivia, and community fun! Join Roots Community School on Friday, November 14 from 6–10 PM at Lakeside Tavern for our fall fundraiser: Tune Into Trivia with Roots. Presented by Chelan Valley CPAs, this year’s theme is all about television — test your knowledge of classic shows, sing along with karaoke, and enjoy delicious heavy appetizers with friends. Drinks will be available for purchase from the bar.
🎟 Tickets are $50 per person and include heavy appetizers, trivia, and karaoke. Tickets are limited and this event is sure to sell out quickly, so grab yours early: Buy Tickets.

Support Roots and showcase your business! Sponsor a round of trivia for $250 or claim one of our specialty sponsorships: Bar Sponsor, Karaoke Sponsor, or Dessert Sponsor. Sponsors will be recognized during the event and across our marketing channels.

Guests are invited to dress up as their favorite TV character for a chance to win prizes for best costumes. Dressing up is completely optional — we want everyone to feel comfortable joining the fun, whether in costume or not.
All proceeds from the evening benefit Roots Community School, helping us continue to provide a creative, project-based, and community-centered education for Chelan Valley students.
