What Sets Roots Elementary and Middle School Apart?

Roots Community School is a state-approved, independent school.

Being an independent school means we are not affiliated with a larger school system or other organizations. This gives us flexibility with our curriculum, teaching styles, and enrichment opportunities. Students of all cultures and backgrounds are welcome at Roots. The school meets or exceeds all state standards in regards to education, curriculum, and attendance.

Roots Community School is unique in so many ways. We’ve outlined a few below:

Why Roots Community School was Formed in the Chelan Valley

OPPORTUNITY

Having educational options is beneficial for any community. By creating a private school in the Lake Chelan School District, we’re allowing families to have options for their children. This allows families to seek out the best fit for their children.

ACCEPTANCE

Our students all have different strengths – academically, socially, physically, and cognitively. We’ve created this school so we can guide students to their full potential as leaders and innovators.

LOCAL SUPPORT

Roots Community School has a cooperative relationship with the Lake Chelan and Manson School Districts. We’re grateful for their support and educational collaboration to benefit all students in the Chelan Valley.
